In our dermatology unit we see cases from our own client base as well as referrals from other clinics. This service is done by appointment because of the time required. We are equipped to handle in-hospital laboratory procedures such as cytology, trichography, superficial and deep skin scraping assessment, acetate tape impression, fungi culture and identification, etc. Biopsies are carried out by us and specimens are submitted to a specialized dermatohistopathologist. Intradermal testing is done for atopic dermatitis in our hospital. Serology for atopic dermatitis is submitted to a specialized laboratory.
